It's smaller than its big brother, and larger than its talkative cousin. What new types of apps come to mind when considering the Mini's size and single-handed ease of use?

While it's far from new, a category directly impacted by the Mini is drawing apps. Its' thinner profile and smaller weight will decrease fatigue from holding the device.
There are definently categories of apps that will benifit from the smaller form factor and decreased weight of the iPad mini. But I doubt there will be specific apps for the smaller iPad, if only for the fact that it's technically challenging to only target the smaller form factor.
