I need 2 build a E-commerce website in a month or so n confused about which platform should I use..

I have been developing with WordPress since 1 year, and have created a couple of eCommerce websites on WordPress. You can use WP-eCommerce by GetShopped to make things faster and easier.

Magento is also a good option but what I found annoying is that they don't have proper documentation about the modules or I should say they don't actually have it.

For NetChillies we are using the custom plugin we made for the same. It was a 30-35 hours job developing the eCommerce plugin and associating it with WordPress.

Moreover, look what you are comfortable with and start developing, should there need any kind of help am always there :)

I platform also come in my mind and its Joomla bcoz of their extensive documentions and huge availability of plugins too... what say ??

I haven't given any try to Joomla till the date, so can't really talk about that, but someday I ditched Joomla in favor of WordPress. Am not saying Joomla is bad, it's just there is no match for WordPress till the date.

There is a Plugin also available for Dreamweaver called Cartweaver cartweaver.com its easy to install and customisable too..

Looks good, but are you ready to pay $225 when you can do the same with great functionalities in WordPress?

I havnt tried wordpress so much yet.. and did a research abt the comparison of wordpress and joomla.. n d conclusion is that joomla is better then wordpress..

Well am not really sure how someone may come to this conclusion. It happens often that people using a product always suggest others to use the same. See what you are comfortable with and move on.
