Do you want to go next? All of my friends are traveling right now, pre-jobs, and it got me day dreaming about all the places I want to visit...
For one, I want to go back to Berlin.
I want to see the (rest of the) States. Specifically the Grand Tetons and New River Gorge Bridge (in Fayetteville, WV) — I can admit that I've totally over-romanticized both in my head, but at this point it's happened and I won't be happy until I've visited.
Despite that most of one side of my family is from various parts of the midwest, I've ended up a quintessential bicoastal person — grew up in LA/SF and now live in NYC. Can count on two hands the number of times I've not been within a stone's throw of an ocean.
Would love more than anything to do a cross-country road trip and visit tiny towns, chat people up, etc.
@Tal - Yosemite is just as amazing as everyone says it is. You should try to go in the early spring, just as the snow is beginning to melt (A+ waterfalls), or in the fall, though. It is truly, unbearably packed in the summer and it's usually too hot to do any real hiking or exploring. The spider caves are also a pretty cool experience, too, if you can find a guide or hop onto a tour that's going through. (No actual spiders involved. A bunch of boulders fell on each other and there's a short but very narrow, pitch black passageway you "spider" — and duck, shimmy, crouch, etc. — your way through.)
And agree on the photo front.
I've been lucky enough 27 years in to have traveled somewhat extensively. As a high school / college athlete, sport brought me all around the world, including Europe, India, North America, Latin America, etc.
I lived in Hong Kong for a while a few years ago and was able to see much of Asia (though not enough of China itself).
The one place I think about regularly to this day, literally most days, is Japan. Specifically Tokyo and Kyoto I remember and miss the sounds. Of course, the food, people, drink, culture, gaming, parks, and sake don't hurt, but it's the sound I miss most.

Ahh @Nick Japan fSHO. I really want to go back too. Maybe not during the epically humid summer this time.... only went to tokyo but really loved it. Fell further in love with ramen and got enough of a taste of the culture to be really hooked.
Have convinced @Josh Miller that its worth checking out too :)
I'm pretty into the idea of visiting La Tomatina. Got the idea ironically from We Need to Talk About Kevin - a morbid film but the tomato festival at the beginning looks like so much fun. latomatinatours.com
I've heard Goa is an awesome party but way too touristy. House music on a beach sounds pretty damn good though.
My sister just got back from New Zealand and she said Milford Sound is the most beautiful place she's ever been.
