The barriers to entry for online are pretty small but the same can not be said for offline. There is a lot of overhead and it's a much trickier game. If we see a lot of online stores flock that way I am guessing a handful will do so and lose big because of it

The other thing that will come into the mix will be same day shipping. I think that is Amazons answer and rather then establish any major brick and mortar presence they will beat the retailers at their own game by offering same day delivery and making it even harder for them to compete.
