The way in which "nerd" is now used as a term of endearment and humble brag...ie "Oh gosh, I really love 19th Century French Literature, but that's just me, I'm a nerd." Or "Yeah, I'm like really into making my own hats, but I'm a total knitting nerd." Anyone who was actually a nerd, would never fucking call themselves a nerd.
Cold call vendors in email who start demanding a reply and pretending things were scheduled.

Mine is thanks to having worked in restaurants... I hate when bussers are clearing the table and they haphazardly pile all the dishes on top of each other right in front of you and/or pick up your plate and *then* ask you to take your silverware back off to keep it for the next course after it's already slid down into the middle of the bowl with leftover sauce, food, etc. Both are markers of awful service.
People always on their smartphones even when trying to have a conversation. Trust me, I like the internet too, but multitasking never really turns out well.
