I think we need a platform that highlights the experts, allows them to address each others' ideas, and allows outside audiences to participate. Does branch do this?

I really like the idea of having a place to collect expert knowledge in the form of discussions or debates. I'm just becoming familiar with Branch, so I don't yet know if it fits the bill. It seems to me that such a platform should support the formation of discussion groups composed of expert members. At the same time, a larger audience should be able to follow the discussion and perhaps ask questions of the expert group. Does Branch have these capabilities?
David, we're not going to be able to develop anything on our own to do this. The best we'll be able to do is mimicking the NYTimes debate site, but that's pretty basic. We just need to pick a platform, and figure out how to do the best we can within its limitations. The good thing is that a branch ends after a certain period of time. If we do choose a different platform in the future, we can.
Hi David x 2, Are there other platforms out there for this or is Branch the only one? If there are more (and they are free/ low cost), maybe we can investigate and see which ones we like the best for our test run/ proof of concept. I'm catching up after having been out sick on Friday but I can add it to my to-do list. Or if you already have a few others you looked at and eliminated for various reasons, that could shorten my research list. Also, is there a way with Branch that we can export a debate to another format, like a nice-looking PDF?
