I guess this is more of a problem with the *use* of the Internet vs. the Internet itself.
But I don't like how the Internet is becoming the end, versus the means. For me, the online should facilitate, enable, and empower the offline - not vice versa.
I feel like there's always yet another way for me to define myself online -- where I am, what I'm watching, what's my Interwebz street cred, what I'm listening to, who I'm with, what I'm looking at -- but these platforms oftentimes hinder & distract me from the very "IRL" I'm supposed to be living. So much so that it can deter me from real, productive action.
The Internet should be complementary to the journey, versus the destination.
I'm totally guilty of this as a user btw...
