I don't know too many individuals that might be interested in this/spend their lives on the internet, but I'll try a few people!

So question: Specific to this year's releases, what video game have you looked at with lust only to know realistically that you personally won't buy it until it's gone down in price?

Ooh this is a good question. For me, I always look at games with lust but have to face the reality of not owning any consoles and knowing that my PC can't run them. This year, it's Dishonored. God, that game looks beautiful.

It's so many things with me. My most obvious one is Borderlands 2 at the moment. I haven't actually seen any gameplay of Dishonored, just a trailer. That needs to go on my to-do list.

ALSO! I will continue this conversation tomorrow (or late tonight) me and girlface are playing games. Maple Story specifically (winces).

So anyways! Another title that stands out at the moment is Retro City Rampage. I remember following that game a year or so ago and it seemed like one of those games that was extremely conscious of other video games, in a good way. In a sort of self-aware way that probably makes it work very well.

But yeah, I know that's probably one of the cheaper of the new launches, but I really can't be spending money when I'm sitting on so many games I got from the Steam Summer Sale xD

Also, this may or may not be a separate branch, but it's close enough. I think it's ridiculous that we've never hung out and played games together considering how close we live to one another.

Not that I have boat loads of time or anything (and not that I know that you do) but come on, video games and hangings and junk food.

Oh yeah, Retro City Rampage looks amazing! There are way too many games on my Steam Wishlist right now.
And yeah, idk why that never happened. I guess we just didn't really know each other in high school.

I think it was more that we knew each other existed through a friend of a friend kind of deal.
I should start using that whole wishlist feature thing if only to keep track of games I want to acquire in the future.

Yeah, I think that's accurate. Amazingly, the internet has made me better friends with people I only ever sort of knew IRL.
I swear by the Steam Wishlist. I am really bad at remembering things, even games I really want. If I don't write it down, it could be gone from my mind forever.

I'm the exact same way (in both instances)! I've made a good amount of internet friends who I still stay in touch with, as well as people who I only sort of knew in meat space.
I should just go through a page of new releases and start steam wish listing things like I do with Instant Queueing on Netflix.

Yeah, right now I think I've got Retro City Rampage, Torchlight 2, FTL, Castle Crashers (finally!), Quantum Conundrum, and Botanicula wishlisted, among others.

I need to wishlist Quantum Conundrum pronto, I've heard only good things.

Castle Crashers is one of those games that my brothers bought on our 360, but I know I'd like to own it myself. Perhaps we could play together if we get it around the same time!

Yeah, that'd be sweet! I've never played it before, due to my lack of consoles.
