I'm a little concerned that so many of the year's great movies are being released around the holidays. How are our schedules supposed to handle both nights out at the cinema and nights at friends' houses toasting over egg nog? And where does holiday shopping factor in?
I wish that more great movies were released earlier in November, or even in October, to balance out the greatness while countering the barrage of crap movies released after the summer season.
Your thoughts? And if pressed to pick just one or two movies to watch this holiday season, what would you choose?
(Don't forget to budget time for A Christmas Story / Christmas Vacation/ Charlie Brown / etc.)
