Twitter encourages short and easily misunderstood points. I want this to be a calmer, more nuanced conversation.
My point is not to denigrate Agile, or it's followers. This thread was prompted by Alan's burndown tweet: Agile is a great tool that too often oversimplifies the issues around UX. Those the follow agile most fervently, tend to miss the forest from the trees.
If I could summarize my issue with agile is that it's *awesome* at running up a hill: it's just not clear if it's the right hill. I've met too many programmers that don't understand this.
