I have personally tried using Kanban, in terms of concept it sounds very solid I just haven't given it a proper go.

I have copies in audio and text of GTD but i'm yet to really go through the whole system. Maybe it's delivery of the speaker, but it's something that didn't sound exciting or engaging except a bit "mechanical" when I have listened to it.

@Mike What has been your experience with either system, and if there are any books you can recommend, which ones can a newbie try out?

This last year, I embraced the Kanban concept, and ended up using Trello to push through my tasks. Great little interface and good for teams > trello.com
