I've thought for years that there is no internal and external in the social organisation. That's why the words Visceral Business have 'is us' highlighted, right in the middle.
The key questions to answer it seems to me are -
1. Is it possible for existing organisations to migrate to this model, or do they have to be invented?
2. If existing organisations are capable of that transition, what are the key drivers for it?
3. What are the risks associated in doing so, and not doing so?
4. What are the best ways to scale an organisation that's conceived in this way?
1. I think existing organisations are in a good position to migrate. In many ways the fact that they have a history and a culture gives them a real opportunity to use an evidence base to make this kind of transformation more effectively.
Really like the Slideshare, by the way. Particularly the clarity of the evolution timeline.
