Cool, think Helen & I are gonna see it sometime this week. Hope it didn't have a shit sequel bait ending...? And yep, played LoW yesterday, 5 player. Was very good! Jim won, got a decent run of quests. Got lucky on my last action as I was left the exact amount of cubes to complete my last quest for an additional 15 or something, putting me in 2nd place just ahead of Ivan.

How come i spend hours trying to convince a "kicking and screaming" emma that she'll love playing Waterdeep, and its the easiest thing she'll ever play... then she eventually relents, and then beats me 132 to 124...?
then she makes out like:
a) it wasnt a big deal...
b) she didnt enjoy it that much...???

surely the joy of kicking my a$$ was enough??

We once played Caylus with Gem. She made no secret of her dislike for it, and despite absolutely steamrollering us all she has henceforth refused to play again.

Nice. Been playing quite a bit with Helen.. She's gotten pretty good at it now, not been able to beat her for about 3 games running! Some hench scores are possible in 2 player, its quest-tactic! Got to the point where we're viciously dishing out the mandatory quests whenever possible. One game recently I gave her 3 of them, and she gave me 2.. She still won. Annoying! :-)

Yeah, em was winning til the last round, but I placed a well timed mandatory... Totally scuppered her... Do I feel guilt? Yeah maybe... But I got the win! :)
