I really like this one. What about our internal clocks. Why is everything based off a day. How would the world be different if you substituted days for hours. 8 day workday, 8 day sleep, 8 day off.

How about playing with biological constants? The speed of evolution/rate of mutation? The intelligence of animals? More/less biodiversity (related to the size of the planet and the land mass ratio.)
