How successful has it been in landing you freelance work? Has it driven enough interest your way to ensure you get constant work or do you still actively seek out projects?

For me its two things. First, I love finding new and original work on there. Usually it leads to getting to know the designer on Twitter/Skype — which in itself, is awesome. Second, it's my main source of work. A few early shots are personal spare time projects that hopefully snowball and lead to actual client work. That's my goal. To feed my family.
I haven't ever actively tried to find work. But you can do different things to make sure work keeps hitting your inbox. Pray hard and work hard. I'm full time freelance and usually work for start ups in the US who have found my Dribbble profile.

Dribbble has gotten me a few leads to freelance work, but I stick with it more because of the community. As a spectator, it's a great to see how skilled designers get to their polished pieces. And as a participant, it's great to be able to give constructive feedback on those pieces.
