Active Healthy Kids Canada has recently released a position statement in which the organization states that they do not recommend active video games as a strategy to help kids be more physically active.

During Monday December 3rd 2012's #pechat, the online #physed community got together and discussed the role of active video games in today's physical education programs (view the #pechat transcript here: bit.ly)

The purpose of this branch is to further develop ideas that sparked during #pechat in more structured and organized fashion.
