I originally started this by asking about something I'd been told, to wit: journals (especially the high impact ones) might refuse to publish your work if you blog it before submission / publication. But the conversation has also veered into the journal's wishes versus the wishes of scientists (twitter.com vs twitter.com), for example. Thoughts?
@BehavEcology right! Blog/soc media is great, just the timing of it. A publisher marketing dept will help authors with this.
