Isn't this rad? I don't know about you but I could never do this! I love my Nintendo collection way too much.

Do you have any personal favorite games that you'll always be holding onto? My collection includes: Kickle Cubicle, Clash at Demonhead, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, and Earthbound. I could never get rid of those games.

My collection has long since dispersed into the void. But I had a particular love for Karnov, Blaster Master and Kid Icarus. Of course the standards such as Castlevania, Metroid, SMB, Zelda and Final Fantasy were also loved and well played...

Karnov! Now that was such a great game, mostly because of the awesome main character!

Wow, that's great that video games are being considered important enough in shaping pop culture that they're being included. But I agree Justin, I could never give up my video games! I'm way too attached!

Besides the great titles already mentioned, I'm also found of Mega Man, any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games and any Capcom Disney games (like Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, etc). And John, Blaster Master is SO GOOD!

Rescue Rangers is one of the greatest and most underrated 2D platformers of all time.

Ducktales! YES! I should have included that one. Also Fester's Quest. I know there is an emotional attachment to many of these but I loved them.

Master Blaster was one of the first video-games that I recall switching from platform to first person (-esque). Also a wonderful sound and music score.

On a similar topic, video game ephemera and classic (are the 1980's considered vintage?) advertisements and packaging are pure nostalgic gold! I ran into a few flickr users that uploaded images of older ads. Loved it!
