I agree, she'd be a very interesting candidate. I think, however, she'll need more than her two terms as First Lady. She's still young, and I think a similar launching of a public career (vis a vis Senator Hillary Clinton) would position her to not only point to her own individual public service, but to leverage the strong Obama brand.

Governor or Senator of Illinois? I could see that. I actually envision her eschewing elected office so she can lead a global foundation. The Barack and Michelle Obama foundation could be historic as they are both so young. Imagine their fundraising operation applied to the globe?
