Oh I have tons of these, most are business but since I do blogger outreach for clients as well I've made a lot of new friends through casual Twitter friendships and then connecting face to face when I travel.
I connected with @wmchamberlain a while back and he was very welcoming into the Twitter edusphere to this introvert. His encouragement helped me increase my participation in learning on Twitter from educators, particularly sharing my own learning more openly.
