Beyond just the help tab? I think we're talking actual popups on the page somewhere?
Possibly something more like hotspots? codecanyon.net
Here's how to add contextual help to the built-in help tab.
And a video tutorial: pippinsplugins.com
Here's a sample from TenXer. dl.dropbox.com

Outside of WordPress I've seen a couple of startups that provide this as a service.
... links I didn't bother to save at the time.
Thanks for your help, Brian. The search continues.
These guys do something similar to TenXer and use WordPress. I'll find out what they're doing. infinitewp.com
That's very close! I saw the Joyride JQuery plugin you sent (JQuery-based would be great). It's wonderful - may just be using it as it's really only missing the highlighting feature of the Tenxer version.
Finding Joyride was key as it introduced me to the accepted name of the feature: 'tour' which lead to duckduckgo.com and ultimately jquery4u.com - Thanks for your help!
... which lead to revaxarts-themes.com.
Examples #4 and #6 are amazing. That it can handle imagemaps is wonderful.
The other solid option - jquerypowertour.com. Thinking of going with that, with some CSS adjustments of course.
Thanks again for your help - you nailed it.
Nice. Glad the discusion led to a solution. Anyone looking for jquery "tour" functionality for web, check this Branch out.
Here's the joyride link, for those interested. InfiniteWP modded it a bit for their use.
Share it with friends!
Thanks for your feedback! Team Branch
