All the jelly bean reviews said that project butter would speed up my gal nexus significantly. Well now that verizon has finally pushed out the update, and having used it for a few weeks, it does not seem a dramatic difference speedwise.

the phone still stutters most of the time going into multitasking, and opening google now takes aaages to open and do web searches (although voice search is really fast).

i love jelly bean, but i was really hoping it project butter would speed it up more than this... does anyone else have this issue?

I'm not really noticing any problems with stuttering. Overall, I think the upgrade is a huge improvement. But I have noticed it takes a long time for search results to appear. It's really annoying, because I use the search box a lot.

i absolutely love JB also, and the problems i list here are not any worse than the slowdown i had with ICS. i guess i just expected it to be better.

i think my main problem is also with getting search results, and opening google now. other slowdowns aren't as consistent.

but come on google! if you are going to have one place where the it should be fastest - you'd think it'd be Googling!

I'm using a contact free GNex (in Germany) and I totally experienced a signficant bump in overall speed and snappiness after upgrading to jelly beans. The OS is quite buttey for me. Maybe it is due to your model, or something?
