I'm not sure what anyone's original intent was. But I'll just say that fashion and cycling have a large crossover market. I don't think it's wrong to use language (visual and aural) that connects with who you are and who your customers are. Just as not ever men's brand is for the same man, not every women's brand has to please every woman. Lastly, just because you are riding a bike doesn't mean every bike brand is trying/wants to serve you.
It just bums me out when folks rag on something inspiring, especially when it's the product of a friend.
