Since @favtv has gone, I regret to have never found something similar that would allow me to know exactly the schedule of my favorite TV shows.
I would like to develop a small web service that could do it. So, I need to get data from somewhere :)

I got few suggestions on Twitter :
* thetvdb.com
* developer.rovicorp.com
* "Create your own robot that parses TV shows websites" but definitely not my choice!
Betaseries.com which is kind of the French fav.tv uses thetvdb.com according to their FAQ betaseries.com and they are able to create your own personnal planning (iCal/RSS) so I guess it's a good way to start.
I'm using the TVRage API for a small project and it works quite well, at least for US and UK shows. It seems to be crowdsourced.
services.tvrage.com
Well, there used to be an online service called "Seriesly" (seriesly.com) which notified the users about which of their shows have aired this day. Now, it's closed due to Google App's Engine pricing issue but the good thing is that it's open sourced. Meaning, you can run your instance on your own server - add your favorite shows and you'll be notified about it.
What I'm currently using (and loving) is a niche web app called Prowlr (beta.prowlr.tv) whose first version used to be a special iOS webapp. Now, the next version is tailored for all types of browsers. It's gorgeous, beautifully coded and yes, it's simply easy to use. Although, it's not as social as fav.tv used to be. But, it's a wonderful replacement.
