CES is under way and it seems like more companies are putting stock Android Jellybean on their devices. Vizio being one of them. Could this sway even more users to Android over iOS?

I've noticed this trend as well, of putting stock Android onto their devices. As a fan of the Android operating system (mostly), I am fully in support of this. Supporting the open source factor is excellent in my opinion.
However, I do not see this affecting Apple in any way, honestly. The competition between Apple and Android is an interesting one, but even to this day, you will still see some developers that will only create their apps for iOS and then maybe, somewhere down the line, they'll consider porting it to Android.
I feel that users of Apple are used to that design and don't like change, so they probably won't be swayed over to try an Android device. I have a feeling this will help Android, yes, but not enough to "hurt" Apple.
Agreed. Apple is not going to be killed by more devices embracing stock Android. Google on the other hand is going to get a huge boost, as their 'ideal' version of the OS is going to be running on more and more devices. This is entirely a good thing, and if this trend continues into Android 5.0, I think we'll see a much brighter Android ecosystem moving forward.
