I think so. The key difference between apple and google is that apple has a focussed game plan while google has a more of a lets throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks approach. Apple does not mind paying for expertise strategically while they learn it and eventually do it themselves, while goggle prefers to learn a thing and do it themselves from the get go expect for small stuff, they like picking up small projects and seeing them grow.

The key things in the next 15+ years will be mobile, cloud and voice navigation. While both of them have all pieces in play in the game, apple is better organized and will crack it first. Google has the user base advantage for now but if it is about 2 years late that advantage will disappear.
