I'm not the biggest fan of pop music, and probably neither are you, but I listened to this and it sounds like... a pretty standard pop song. Given where she's coming from, it's pretty amazing. I can definitely see improvement in each song she's released since Friday.

Do you think she will succeed?

I agree that it's much better than the stuff she's released, but I don't think her voice is anything special. So despite her improvement, I don't think she's got enough talent to be successful.

She is just as good as any other musician. Although her Friday song was ridiculously annoying, I don't think it was really any worse than many other pop songs.

Yep, she'll probably do well. And that is why humanity is doomed.

How do you gauge success? Making a bajillion dollars? Having fans? I think she's already succeeded.
