What happened to the sharebros? What happened to those people talking about creating Google Reader alternatives? Even Google seems to have stopped working on Google Reader.

Doesn't Microsoft plan to make an alternative to Google Reader? What about Facebook? Or Yahoo!? Nobody?

I spend hours looking through RSS and Atom feeds. I would spend more hours on Google Reader than on reddit. How come there's only one good service for feeds and it was neutered? All the others… don't work right for me.

Branch has more of a social appeal but it doesn't have the feeds. Where's the feeds?!!

I've tried lots of feed agreggators. Or they are offline and have a tacky interface, like FeedDemon, or they are really weird and don't show feeds the way I want it to, like Feedly, or they don't exist, like HiveMined. They don't come close to offer what Google Reader did. Yours is not an exception.
