Hi all, joining in after a long day! I have several thoughts, but my first reflects on my own experience as CMO of Girls in Tech (a global organization for women in technology and entrepreneurship).
I've been part of the organization for 5 years now, and have grown into a leadership position while the org itself has grown to almost 30 chapters around the world.
We're an entirely virtual organization, so, in many ways, technology has helped me/us connect to our growing chapters, move the org from one that was grassroots to one that's much more organized, connected each of our chapters, promote ourselves, etc etc etc. Truly, I wouldn't have been able to do this without technology.
However, it doesn't come without difficulties...
