Lol, Instagram has a Tumblr. I love when social media sites have profiles of themselves on other sites. Like how Tumblr has a Twitter. It's so weird. It's like the Internet is eating itself.

To let their Twitter followers know what's up. lol, but seriously, Twitter is a better way for brands and companies to keep in touch with users and those interested than Tumblr.

I think the signal to noise ratio on Twitter is inherently less than on Tumblr because it's all neat, short text posts that are expanded if any more media is linked to.
