So, like, the Google Death Star—I mean, Nexus Q—just came out at I/O. I'm not a hardware junkie so, errrr, would any of you guys seriously buy this thing? I guess I just don't understand what the value add would be. And the $299 price tag ain't cheap, either...

That, and I don't know about you guys, but last time I watched my most favorite YouTube video, Corgis on a Treadmill, I did not need to do it with an amplifier powered by the same chipset as the Galaxy Nexus with ethernet, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity as well as optical audio and micro-HDMI output that I can use my (non-existant, but that's neither here nor there) Android device to control.

Sucks to have to watch Apple and Google play Keeping up with the Joneses on stage.

Seems like an expensive Apple TV. Not sure why they added the amp so you can plug it directly into some speakers... maybe they are going for the college market. If all you have is a TV and need a stereo (and don't have an iPhone) then this could be nice as a home media "server."

Yeah, that's a good point. With iPhones these days, do we need media centers?
