I've been working as a Front-End Developer, more or less, for the past six years. I still love the process of turning someone's vision into a real live website, but over the past few years I've noticed a vast increase in the complexity of needs coming from clients. This, coupled with high expectations and often small budgets (when compared to other development phases), means my roles in projects vary widely.
I'm wondering what others feel are the biggest challenges to the profession right now, and what they'd like to see changed.
This can be anything from how you work with designers and engineers to problems with our current technology stack or obnoxious industry fads.
Input from designers and backend developers welcome.
