I have been using iMovie for several years, now looking at Final Cut Pro X.
I'm trying to use a Power Point slide as a picture in picture but the jpeg becomes blurry when the video is running. Do you have any ideas how to get around this issue?

First of all I need some clarification, exactly what file type are you putting in the timeline? Are you overlaying multiple files? Also what resolution is your timeline in (eg 1920 x 1080?) and what is the resolution and pixel size of the image you are trying to insert?

It might also help me to know how much you know about Final Cut Pro X and how it works... Have you been following any tutorials or had formal training, or are you just opening the program and figuring things out as you go? How long have you been using it?

Thanks for the reply, I will have to check on the settings, I'm not where I can check right now, but will provide that information later.
I have been watching videos on Lynda.com, very helpful, that is really my only source of information at this time.
