I am reluctant about Cyberbullying. Of course I know about how anonymity can somehow make you say mean things that you would not say in person. But malevolent people are going to bully no matter what, through whatever medium they can find. So then, is there really a distinction between cyberbullying and bullying?

I think it's nice to see Facebook being proactive in ensuring user safety on the internet, especially with the touchy "tween" demographic.

I think it is good for them to take part in it as well. Of course there is a lot of bullying. But I think for the people who actually kill themselves, I think the biggest problem for them is that they don't know where to find good people on the internet. I mean, the Internet is so enormous. There are plenty of websites, like reddit, that have many loving, supporting people. I think many people who talk about cyberbullying do not realize that the Internet does not just consist of Facebook. There are plenty of places where people can seek help. Teenagers just do not realize this, and get trapped. And the educators are not pointing these safe harbors out for people.
