An interesting article on the best time to send emails attached. Maybe more tailored to B2B emailing, but perhaps still relevant.
In my experience though, emails sent in the morning may not get our full attention - certainly emails that arrive before typical waking hours don't get any action from me in the morning!
My personal findings from email marketing is that those that we send out at the beginning of lunch tend to produce more responses than those sent at any other time.
I think optimum timings for these things depend on your intent. Any call for action emails should be sent out at lunchtime or towards the end of the working day. If you want to ensure it's read, early in the morning is best.
Thoughts??
