TASK! Describe your ideal work day. Be honest.
TASK! Describe your ideal work day. Be honest.
This is a guesstimate. My current problem is that my days tend to be 60%+ meetings.
1. PRE-SCRUM: Internet time, check e-mails and last night's news. Share new findings.
2. SCRUM: Outlining the work expectancy for the day. Also a good time to check-in with other teams to gauge work expectations if necessary.
3. MAKE time (until lunch at least). Stave off meetings to actually be making something - deck, report, research, etc.
4. LUNCH - Reading / Internet time. Necessary brain-break from the office.
5. MEETINGS (if necessary) regroup and review work completed earlier in the day.
6. EOD check-in. Time to bring attention to hiccups encountered during the day that get lost overnight.
1 9AM : One-task SCRUM + prototype share. Each person describes in/under five minutes their ONE task for the day. (This is obviously imaginary since we're all working on 1,000 things each day.) Each person brings in a prototype for the idea they developed the day prior. The group provides CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.
2 10AM : One-hour solo research/inspiration development.
3 11AM : Two-hour concepting session with one creative partner.
4 1PM : One-hour lunch / idea gestation with creative partner.
5 2PM : One hour with Bud to further develop ideas as a creative team.
6 3PM : Two-hour prototype development time with creative partner.
7 5PM : Check-in with CD's + Bud for EOD feedback to push into next day.
Note the lack of meetings.
