I love the Circa App. It has a great UI, offers a great experience, etc. My question for Circa, long term, and for many other news apps that have emerged focused on making news more consumable, or providing feeds of information, is whether or not they can ever be more useful than Twitter alone?

I see a place for long form journalism, and companies, as well as companies focused on changing how we publish - or discuss - but I struggle to see a place for Circa, etc.

Am I missing something?

I can't speak to whether or not you believe you're missing something, but Circa is not Twitter, nor the other way around. Think of Twitter as one big loud conversation. Sure there are ways to dive into specific people talking, or specific conversations, but it's still not organized in a way that's coherent.

While Circa and Twitter share brevity as a theme, that's where the similarities fall away. Circa is designed to be as informative as possible by sticking to the facts, and its keeps people up to date through followed stories. Twitter has far too much noise to signal for this part to be effective in my opinion.

A few questions:

1. Do you feel that Circa could become an active platform? Perhaps with brevity guiding people to action.
2. Isn't national/international news with brevity a large focus? I keep on debating how you accomplish something similar to what you outlined on a state level: medium.com

At any rate, I am excited to see Circa develop, and kudos to you for replying.
