I would love some native Seattle sights to make sure we shoot while we are there in Seattle. Give me some suggestions!

As I type this I'm sitting on my deck that looks over downtown Seattle. The Space Needle can be seen just to the left with the waters of Elliot Bay off to the right. Just beautiful!
I think some of the best shots that take in the true "feel" of Seattle are any with the mountains in the background. I'd try to get a shot of one of the ferries with the Olympics or Mt Rainier in the background. Nothing like seeing sitting in the warm sun with a view of snow covered peaks.
Don't forget to head down to Pioneer Square to get some shots of the tree lined streets and some of the oldest buildings in the city.
You could also head over to Alki Beach. There are some great shots from there looking back towards the city.
Taking the ferry out to Bremerton and back is a nice ride and gives a terrific view of the skyline. And if the weather is right, you get some nice mountain views. Try early in the morning or at sunset for extra special light.
Likewise, the tourist boat ride you can catch down at the piers gives some nice shots - it doesn't go quite as far out as the ferry, but it does go along the skyline for some nice panning shots. It also goes out towards the shipyards if you like big industrial looking stuff.
Kerry Park in Queen Anne gives a beautiful view of the city and Space Needle. seattle.gov
Discovery Park has a nice shoreline with a quaint lighthouse. seattle.gov
Can you give us an idea of the sort of atmosphere or feel you are going to try and capture? There are tons of iconic locations but they all have different energies to them.
Here are a few more places that offer great skyline shots:
1. Gasworks park - It is at the north end of Lake Union and would allow you to show the true separation between Seattle Center (Space Needle) and downtown. i always hate films that make it look like the SN is part of downtown.
2. Asian Art Museum/Volunteer Park - another lush spot with a somewhat lesser known view.
3. Streets off Summit Ave. on Capitol Hill.
