This is a "deal" that is hardly worth writing about at this point. The structure of this deal was one of the first content deals that Joost made when it was a P2P video streaming site. CBS shows that aren't remotely new. Each time I see that CBS reaches a deal with a streaming service, it hammers into the ground that CBS is essentially built to be a company that my parents care about, not me.
At this point, if it's a CBS show that's not already available on Hulu, don't expect it to be available anywhere else. CBS is the television equivalent of rereleasing Neil Diamond and Barbara Streisand records on an annual basis.
Does this deal have any value?
