I know a lot of Mac users who prefer Chrome. (A lot of Mac users used to prefer Firefox, but their numbers are dwindling.)

Me, I use Safari most of the time.

I do dispute your suggestion that being a member of a group you call "the Apple faithful" somehow equates to only using software created by Apple.

Apologies, I didn't mean to insinuate that because people like Apple products they have to use every Apple product and love it. In terms of my setup I am 100% Apple in every way, laptop, tablet, and phone. I am not biased though, I use Chrome. I find that the usability is good enough to be my go-to browser. The plugin and third party community build great additions that seem to be lacking for Safari. Odd to me because developers build fantastic apps for iOS so why the disconnect? It can't just be bottom line because some fantastic apps are free to download.

Also, I find that Chrome is faster than any other browser on my machine. I do wish they would cut the built-in flash though.

If anything, I'd say those numbers suggest that Safari is doing pretty well. I'm sure Microsoft would love to have the same percentage of Windows users using IE instead of Chrome.
