I enjoy Mumford & Sons. They are excellent musicians playing good, heartfelt music. But then the other day I was listening to their latest massive hit radio single and a thought crossed my mind: are these guys basically Journey for the current generation? I mean that in both good and bad ways: there's an earnestness about their music that makes me feel really good, but I wonder how it will sound twenty plus years from now...to younger ears and minds.
