Perhaps if entrepreneurs saw their pathway to success as likely to include a few failures, we may see more entrepreneurs starting out as interns or early-employees. They may choose to learn by "being on the boat" first, and than "being the captain" as a result. Is it more likely that entrepreneurs will succeed if they experience a few failures first?
Note: let's answers this from a NZ context only (as this is a discussion to evaluate what could be done in NZ).
