Pazzo Gelato - mostly because it's walking distance from me. Or maybeeee the salted caramel budino at Mozza :D

I have had better luck with the standard flavors at Pazzo Gelato than their more exotic ones. The red velvet tasted like pure cream cheese on a bagel. The bananas in the banana fudge or whatever always taste unripened. But the straight up chocolate, etc... was great. Is it just my luck?

I think it might be your luck. The Brown Sugar Bacon, the whiskey and the Guinness gelato are so good I want to punch somebody. Nothing, however, has matched Neilson's Salted Caramel on Abbot Kinney.

I just had the Budino at Mozza along with their new something-drenched peach and raspberry gelato dessert sundae. Still good.

The banana pudding at Earlez Grille on Crenshaw deserves mention. They don't make it themselves, it comes from a woman who just sells banana pudding in various restaurants.

The strawberry rhubarb & mixed berry pies at Sweet Lady Jane are at the top of my list currently — amazing crust & amazing fruit. (sweetladyjane.com)

My runners-up are the freshly-baked sea-salt chocolate-chip cookies from The Misfit that are given out by the basketful after you finish your meal. So warm, so salty, so chocolately. (themisfitbar.com)

The basket full of cookies may have been because we were 10+ on an expense account, but previously they've given me as many cookies as I wanted.
