After seeming to go "all-in" in their partnership with Microsoft on Windows Phone OS, are they now hedging their bets with an Android contingency plan?

I love the photo in that article. Stephen Elop looks exactly as freaked out as I would be if Steve Ballmer was shaking my hand.

The boring answer to this would be the job listing is for Nokia Maps or Here or whatever it's called, to develop the Android version. The fun answer is that they are bailing out of Windows Phone ;) (pretty unlikely)

Exactly. That's why it's pretty unlikely.

Honestly though, I would care LOTS about Nokia doing Android phones IF they were running stock, or damn close to stock, Android. That would be amazing. So, so amazing. Which means it will never happen.

(Although, surely people like HTC must be at least noticing whats going on with the Nexus 4. Nexus phones always get people pretty excited, but this one seems to be unique in that demand seems really high. There is a market for stock Android. A growing one. And one that has a big LTE shaped hole.)
