So this show is currently on FX and is amazing. The entire premise only lasts a season (currently in the second season) and then they change everything in the second season. But basically the story of the first season is that a family moves into a haunted house. From here it basically plays out like a soap opera, except less dramatic and far more morbid. Have you guys seen this?

I started watching it on netflix and I don't know how I feel about it (just got through the Halloween episodes). On one hand, I like most of the actors; and the show is sufficiently creepy. The old/young made device is pretty awesome and plus she's hot right? But I kind of hate the "plot," especially their whole fucked up marriage and the way that develops. I get why they it's in the show; and I'm sure there's a bigger payoff at the end of the season. But awful relationship shit is just too "adult" for me, maybe. Maybe I'm just a big prude, though.

Yeah I kind of relished in the awfulness of their relationship. I mean the guy is definitely an idiot and totally clueless for the entire show, it becomes fun to watch him figure out how the world works (without really figuring anything out).

I'm liking season 2 more than season 1. Both seasons have their scares, but the story in season 2 is better. Season 2 also has _____ (spolier) .

Season 2 does not have that maid tho...

I actually liked season 1 better. I am a sucker for the soap. I have warmed up to season 2 lately, and am definitely looking forward to new episodes.

Surprisingly same cast with different characters was not super jarring like I thought it was going to be.

I've been thinking about season 3. I wonder what setting will be next. But more importantly, will I easily accept Lange in a 3rd role? Probably.
